At the Farmers market
I think the photos tell the story here :0) I went to the farmers market with my friends Mikel and Danny, and our 5 kids! Joshi and Bailey got their faces painted. Joshi was a tiger and stayed in character the whole time we were at the market. Those 2 girls always play so good together. And they walked off hand and hand into the sunset(or the park)

Last Day of VBS
Last night was the last night of Vacation Bible School. I had intentions of making sure I got a good photo of us 3 girls. But the kids know I'm a push over and I'll let them use my camera. So after having them take a couple quick shots of us the camera was gone. Its never returned to me until the battery is dead. But they got a shot of Billi dancing with Joshi. Billi was a crazed zealot as soon as the music turned on. And by far she was the most popular person there. Every girl wanted to hold her (and every adult too)

Vacation Bible School
Today was day 2 of Vacation Bible school. Joshi loves it even more than she did last year. And she really seem to absorb what they are teaching her. You can't tell while she's there because she's either in extreme ecstasy dancing or goofing around at the marketplace(crafts) An old friend from preschool last year (McKenna) was there tonight. The quality of the photos are bad but you can get the idea thats she's really into it. Maybe I'll get a photo of me in my garb at the metal shop tomorrow night.

Daddy Home
We picked Elwood up at the airport yesterday and we have to bring him back Friday. But the girls are super happy to have him home. Todays 2 photos are: Billi showing off her new trick of clapping her feet. And Joshi sick in bed. I think her cough is starting to get better. But she walked upstairs this afternoon without a word and took a nap in our bed. Thats unheard of, so she must still feel pretty crumby.

Barbs photos
I finally caved to peer pressure and joined facebook. I had to steal these 3 photos from Barbs page, taken on our trip to New Mexico. I forgot the funny incident when Joshi fell off a swing into a big mud puddle. At first her girlish pride was hurt, but Kim told her as long as she was already dirty, didn't she want to keep playing? That of course made total sense to her. But her clothes will never be white again.
Day two
We went to Explora ( a childrens science museum). We could have spent all day there, it was a blast. Joshi and and her new twin explored everything together. Barbara took Billi and Elizabeth to the toddler room for most of the visit. You can see a photo of my most exhilarating part of my trip. Although I don't think you can appreciate how high the bicycle on the wire was from the photo. It was very safe of course but I was still quite scared.

Day One
Our first full day in New Mexico we went to their aquarium. Its very hard to get good photos in a dark aquarium. But I just had to post these so you could see the pattern. Joshi is (and will continue to be) right by the side of kim's 3.5 yr old daughter Antonina. Joshi has always made fast friends but these 2 were instantly inseparable. It was actually bittersweet to see. The were so great together but we knew in 5 days they probably would not see each other again for another 10+ years. But it really made the vacation fun for Joshi.

We're Back!
- my how times have changed.
Joshi started throwing up on the plane this afternoon and seems to be pretty sick, so I don't anticipate a restful nights sleep. But I have tons of great pics I'll upload in the following days.

New Mexico here we come
Bye bye Sunday School
Today was the last day of Joshi's bible school, so they had a little party. Ginny did a really great job teaching them this year. It can't be easy to get 4 yr olds to focus on anything other then themselves. The other day Joshi was in the back seat while I was trying to find a hiking trail I've been to a million times. And she started making up and singing a song about god. When I was back on the right road she said she was singing it while I was lost so I wouldn't get scared. priceless!

Bathing Beauties
Testing 1, 2, 3...
This is my first official blog post to see if I know how to do this :o) So here are a couple photos from the hike I took with the girls. Joshi throwing rocks in the river, and Billi stealing from her pile of rocks. That activity could have probably gone on all day. Why do I have to drag them away from this mundane task when if we were home I could have paints, parachutes, and bag pipes and I'd still hear, I'm bored?
